Georgia Turns 7!

We had a good time last night celebrating "little" Georgie celebrating her birthday! I really can't believe that when I met her she was just 3...gives me a little glimpse into how time will fly with our two little ones :) Here are some fun little shots I grabbed while celebrating, including one of her little brother Nickolas getting a big bite of cake and ice cream!

Zoe in the Belly!

I had the privilege today of hanging out with friends and taking some maternity shots for them. Their baby girl is due the same week as our twins, so it's been fun to go through pregnancy together! Here's some sneak peaks of our session of Kaci's belly!

Ben is 4 months old!

I have had the fun privilege this week of spending time with good friends and their sweet, little one! It's so funny to see these people that have been my sidekicks since high school make the transition to being parents. It's nice timing though because it reminds me of what I am soon in for! What a precious gift little ones are! (Remind me that in a few months when I haven't slept more than 2 consecutive hours :)

Jaxon is six months!

I was also reminded this week how fast little ones grow! Our baby friend Jaxon is already six months old, hard to believe. It seems like just a few weeks ago I was taking his newborn pics and helping to create his birth announcement. This fun session yesterday reminded me to treasure every minute because they fly by!

Baby Gianni

This past week I had the pleasure of visiting a friend and her 8 week old son, Gianni. It's sweet just to be around them and reminds me of what awaits me in just a few months! I also had some sobering reminders this week just how precious life is and what a miracle it truly is every time a happy, healthy baby is born. Gianni is about as laid back as they come, is it wrong for me to pray for that with my own?! :) He of course is gorgeous with a full head of silky hair! Enjoy the sneak - peek!

Blog Slacker

I know, I know,  I have been a terrible blogger. I don't know if it's pregnancy or lack of inspiration but I have not been exploring my creative side lately unless something requires it. This past weekend at the encouragement of my husband, I took the camera along on a couple excursions. One was to the "bark park" - it's really doggie heaven, full of dogs all of their leashes running around and sniffing each others you know whats. We are trying to give Doz a little attention before life as he knows it is over when the babies come!
We also went to Terrain, an awesome experience in the world of plants and landscape. It's from the same guy who brought us Anthropologie & Urban Outfitters. Really, it's just something to be experienced! (www.terrainathome.com) So here's some photos from the adventures!

Baby Timmy & Big Borther Danny

I had great fun getting to see my friends little one who just barely made it into 2008, being born on Dec 30th! They named him Timmy & he's sweet as can be. His big brother Danny is still trying to decide what to make of him, but he was super sweet during our little impromptu photo shoot. Enjoy!

Baby Benjamin

I know it has been a while since I have posted. There has been a lot going on in my world since the last post. I am happily 14 weeks pregnant with twins! I have been slacking on my photo projects in the meantime. So speaking of babies, I had the privilege of visiting one of my dearest friends and her newborn son last week. Here's Baby Ben!

Friends & Fall

Matt & I had the chance to hang out with our good friends Jay & Marcus yesterday afternoon, which happened to include a trip to Lums pond with both our dogs. The purpose of the trip was to get some good pics for a potential Christmas card (sorry Jay if you choose any of these!). We enjoyed the late Fall weather and each other's company! Our dogs also enjoyed their romp into the pond..ick.

Family Ties

We set up the tripod on Sunday to get a few new sibling/family shots of the Troutmans! I am lucky to have married in to such a loving bunch. And of course, Dozer had to get in there some how!

Enjoy.

ALL BOY

What do you think of when you hear about little boys? Boogers, sticks and spontaneous wrestling? BINGO! Well even if not, it's usually nothing dainty. I definitely didn't see any boogers but I got to hang out with the Hardcastle boys this last friday. Our little photo session did involve spontaneous wrestling and running with sticks! Good thing they're cute. As for their mom Jenny, pray for her regularly :)

Autumn Bonfires..does it get any better?!

I have to say we had a great weekend with friends this past weekend. The weather was gorgeous and the company was great as we threw a bonfire complete with chili, hot dogs and smores of course! There's nothing like a cool night with spiced apple cider either... thanks for the memories!

Christmas Card Time!

Just letting you know that this is a great time of year to get that Christmas card shot, so please shoot me an email if you want to book an appointment! (etroutman@ogletown.org)

Baby Announcements

Do you need help with Baby Announcements? Let me know!
Here's a recent sample of one I did for friends.
(I did use a design created by another photographer but inserted my own image & adjusted it accordingly - just need to give credit where credit is due)

Daisy Girl

So if you know us at all, we have a soft spot for English Bulldogs. Our own English Bulldog, Dozer, led my parents to get their own bulldog. They got his "little" sister Daisy a little over a year ago and look at her now! I had an impromptu visit with her and decided to break out the camera.

Baby Jaxon

I had the privilege today to shoot for friends their week old baby, Jaxon. He's a sweet one!

Gotta' love the new baby skin and the fact that he did not want to part with his binky for anything. Such a little miracle!
